It's been awhile since I've used nextjs due to vulnerabities with RSC and such. is it recommended to use?

IMO: yes, if you don’t use the new features. Use features that exists for multiple major versions. Don’t use for example cacheLife or cacheTag (or be warned, that your system does not run like expected). But when you hold up to that rule feel free to use it in production ^^

most of the vulnerabilities are being found due to very extensive AI analysis from what I understand. I personally feel like lots of projects and frameworks probably have similar things "wrong" too, so I wouldn't strictly use this as bad sign.
