characters disappearing/changing after a week on site

On my website, in a build version my characters are disappearing/ changing into " � " characters.
Weirdly enough, this only happens on certain pages, other pages, are fine with the same component.
When I restart/rebuild my website, it works fine for about a week, then they turn into the � chars.
Yes the components are UTF8, yes the things like "©" are being used..
I am a bit lost right now as I do not understand this behaviour. I have also cleared the cloudflare cache and it doesnt help.
the only notable thing is that it happens on pages that have the small dot in their body. the same footer component is used across the entire website.
