Recommendation about migrating from v14 to 16

Hi there, I am planing on migrating a next app from v14, to 16.
What's your recommendations here, to jump from 14 to 16 directly, or should I go from 14 -> 15, then from 15 -> 16
Also, any recommendations in this process to make it much smoother and faster, like upgarading other packages versioning to align with the latest next & react versions ?

I’m running into some trouble with Jest as I upgrade from 14 to 16 too
But when I tried to migrate to 15, it's working with minimal effort, use codemod and opus 4.5 to resolve some type error left
