No way to hook experimental ViewTransition into browser navigation?

So, with the React ViewTransitions, is there no way to have it so they trigger with browser navigation? Like going forward/back?.
I was using [next-view-transitions](https://github.com/shuding/next-view-transitions) off github, but once they added official experimental support in Next.js, I gutted it out in favor of the official only to realize this limitation.
