The cons is that someone can spin up something identical like you did and put more marketing effort into / get lucky on social media with it catching on…next thing you know their site is receiving more traffic than yours.

If you open source wait until your app has a larger presence online before doing so

There’s no immediate pros I can see, but I’m not too familiar with your service (I like it though!)
