how to deliver to client

Hey, quick question — I just finished a JavaScript website project using Lovable and the client already paid me.

I’m wondering what the standard way is to deliver the final project. Should I send a ZIP file with all the source files, or is it better to host it somewhere (like GitHub Pages or Netlify) and just send them the link?

Also, do people usually include a handover email or basic documentation when delivering a site, or is just the site itself enough?

Just trying to get a better idea of how it’s handled professionally. Appreciate any advice!

It depends,
If they want it hosted, just send them link.

Zip file if they specifically ask for, then only otherwise GitHub
Additionally, please verify the code generated by Ai for any vulnerabilities

so if I am done with the with the website for example I just do this www.sitemeesters.com
Here is you’re website
like thiss?
Did he specifically also ask for hosting of website?
What i would do is:

- if he asked for hosting:
- - Host the website and send him the link, that’s it
- - code only if requested

- if not:
- - send code via GitHub and also a Vercel.app preview of app

If so, imagine a client asks you to build a website for them. Would you use a tool like Lovable.dev to create it?

And if yes, once the site is finished — how do you usually deliver it to the client? Do you host it for them, transfer the files, or something else?

Just curious how others approach this. Appreciate any insights
