when self hosting, does nextjs utilize multiple vcpus or does it 100% need clustering for making use of more than 1 vcpu?

what kind of machines should we be choosing?

my safe answer is like at least 2x instances of 1vcpu 2gb memory horizontal at beginning. but I dont know rly.
