Two NextJS 14 apps starting simultaneously failing with unhandled exceptions after the first request 2 days ago. Server restart fixes it for a while, then users get the error again when logging in. One uses NextAuth, the other not.
Common: Both use Okta auth, and our server was reconfigured with Okta FastPass the day before errors started happening. Surely this caused something... but what?!
My suspicion is that some okta cookies have changed or something? Maybe some encoding issues, and NextJS is failing deep internally when decoding? I have read a few issues about cookie encoding with % failing?
The teams have been struggling for 2 days to even identify the root cause. Does this ring a bell for anyone?
