Perplex about tailwinds Size utility class. Please help

Dudes can someone explain why people don't make use of the size utility class in tailwinds? I always see h-2 w-2 for instance in the outputs of every component generating tool. Am I doing something wrong by making use of the size utility?

size-* was introduced on version 3.4.0, so its relatively new (dec 19th 2023), generating tools use h-2 w-2 mostly to be safe cause they don't know which version of tailwind you are using and if its an older version than that version, it might not work properly 🙂
