Why adding `antialiased` by default in `layout.tsx`?

I did some digging online and found out that is some cases, setting font-smooting antialias can cause issues. Most of the suggestions I found was to remove it and Let the browser handle it based on the scenario. So, Is there any reason NextJs adds
