favicon icon not updating on domain

sometimes it will appear on local host and right now it is appearing on vercel production but not on my domain it is currently named icon.ico in the app directory as im using the app layout

from using app router i just put it in as favicon.ico in the app folder and it eventually worked just make sure your local host has it updated and eventually google will too
