Dear community, we need your input!
We’re working on something that we hope will fill a gap in the market—a resource that’s genuinely valuable for developers/CTO/tech people tackling advanced challenges with Next.js.
We’ve narrowed it down to two final content ideas, but before moving forward, we’d love your feedback.
Which one do you think is missing or would be the most useful?
Would it be something that would actually help you?
What would you possibly improve/add/change?
What do you think about webinars format?
Your insights will help us shape something that adds value to the community. Drop your thoughts below—we’d really appreciate it!
I. Series of videos/webinars about practical & advanced use cases, several lessons, delivered every week, covering topics like:
- Updates (how to approach to the nextjs update & best practices to keep code ready for onward updates)
- Server Components (streaming, partial prerendering, hydration, caching)
- Caching (route caching, requests caching, revalidation, invalidation )
- App router (cons and pros, new functionalities, is it worth to migrate?)
- Architecture (structuring projects for large-scale, monorepo)
- Rendering (balancing between SSR/SSG/CSR for the best results, performance)
II. Series of videos/webinars on optimizing Next.js Hosting Cost, several lessons, delivered every week, covering topics like:
- diagnosing hosting needs and corresponding cost (how to compare different hosting platform costs)
- optimising cost of Vercel (practical use cases of optimizations from real apps)
- Open Next (possibilities of the tool, platforms, first steps)
- self-hosting on AWS (app hosting, setup lambdas, cdn, scaling)
- self-hosting on Azure (app hosting, setup lambdas, cdn, scaling)
- self-hosting on VPS
- Next.js & Netlify
Any comment would be appreciated!

Hey @Polish , We are working on something similar too. We study large open-source projects such as Supabase, LobeChat, Cal.com, Shadcn/ui and provide codebase architectural guides available at https://app.thinkthroo.com/architecture
We discuss advanced Nextjs use case by reviewing the open source code.

Hi again everyone!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and helping us decide! After gathering feedback from various communities and researching the market, we’ve decided to organize the Next.js Hosting Cost Optimization Expert Sessions.
The first of three planned webinars is happening on January 23rd at 11 AM (EST), and we’ll explore how to:
- Find hidden hosting costs and map expenses with precision
- Build cost projection models tailored your infrastructure and scaling goals
- Evaluate platform lock-in risks, to choose the best hosting provider for your needs.
Save your spot here: https://pagepro.co/nextjs-hosting-cost-optimization.
In the second session, our focus will be on practical ways to optimize your hosting setup. We’ll cover code-level tweaks to help lower your Vercel hosting costs, externalizing key features so you’re not overly reliant on premium services, and choosing the best hosting plan for your projects.
The third and final session is all about scaling with confidence. Find out which third-party services can replace Vercel’s built-in features, how to plan deployments, set up serverless functions and CDNs, and create a step-by-step migration plan if you’re ready to move away from Vercel. The session will feature a discussion of the trade-offs, like how leaving Vercel could affect productivity, integrations, and support, so you can weigh the pros and cons and make the best decision for your app’s future.
I’m looking forward to seeing you there!
