So I have my favicon.ico in the
app folder, and it's showing up on the tab. But when I google search it, I'm not seeing it there? Do I need to add the icon property inside the metadata object?4 Replies

If you've just added it, it can take some time for Google to reindex
You may be able to request a new crawl via webmaster tools

it looks like on google search, it's just an empty generic globe icon now?
I thought having
favicon.ico at the app level would automatically do the trick? Do I need to also add a icon file?
