I just spent the longest time figuring out how to incorporate Server Actions and Route Handlers into my application. I kept getting "async/await is not supported in client-side component". The issue turned to be my NextJS version (v14.2.3) was too old to use async on a client-side event handler. I just upgraded to v14.2.15 and all my issues went away .
