Hey, I am going to migrate WP page to next,js and headless CMS.
I wonder about route structure in new webpage becouse, the current one has flat structure, all pages are right after https://domain.com/dynamicPages.
The current administrator said that is the SEO friendly way, and changes can have negative impact on SEO result. In my opinion it looks little confusing, obscures the structure of dir and is not scaleable.
What should be correct approach?

She is right about the negative impact of seo
If you change the url, you will be starting from ground 0 and lose ranking
And its fine, google bots when they craw look at the websites url and as long as its readable and has the keywords it will index it and can help with seo
Especially for a user point of view
As long as its readable.
You can do a rewrite url though.

Yeeah for sure, but if I will care about redirects from old url's to the new ones, the should has any impact, right?
Is it worth keeping the old flat structure, since the new page will be on next.js and next in the documentation suggests a nested structure. Is the flat structure more readable for SEO? Has anyone had a similar experience?
