using nextauth with discord

Question

Im looking to use nextauth with discord, i got the signin working, but id like if as part of signing in my bot gets access to the roles the user has that shares a server with my bot. the bot is only in one server, mine, and i want to use the roles they have in that server to control what content they can see/access on the website

i know theres the guilds.members.read scope i can add to the url generator which "allows /users/@me/guilds/{guild.id}/member to return a user's member information in a guild" but i dont really want the bot to be able to get info on any provided guild.id just the one that my bot is running in. i hope this makes sense im still a bit confused on if there even is any connection between this oauth//sign in and the actual bot as i run it
