Problem with Sending Message & Creating Event (Discord)

Hi all,
When I call this API, in the console it says Creating event, and sending message. Then, it says message sent successfully and event created successfully - but can't see it in discord, it doesnt create or send. Any ideas why it doesnt work?

its all good now, i just switched to the discord rest api

wrapping your whole function in a try catch is not a good idea
is there a expected response from discord after creating an event?
