So I got a contact from this guy and he told me to manage his application on the cloud.
I am a cloud engineer with specialty on AWS and at the same time I also work as a full stack developer.
The company is a startup one based in Lagos Nigeria and the CEO asked us to move down in Lagos but the salary was too poor compare to the standard of living in that part of the country. I was able to work around the clock to ensure that is application was successfully deployed on the cloud and also activated the custom domain with a bought.
After the completion of the work, he paid some people but refused to pay me.
The next thing I saw was that he started removing some people of which he paid some of them. He also removed me and blocked me from all access to the GitHub repository and to the company's website and to all social media connected to the company and his own.
He has been snubbing my calls and never return my messages and at this point I want to seek for your opinion as a community of the developers who might have one or two experience in dealing with client like this.
In the cause of helping me and you find any valuable resources or information that can help me gain Justice on this issue and you feel it is more confidential that you cannot share it online in a public place here, please do well to reach out to my inbox.

Honestly is there a signed contract or something ?
next time ask for a pre-payment of half of the agreed amount

Yeah, unless there is a signed doc between you and him there is no legal matter you can do
Or what gin said
Unnless he has a google business you can put that review
So Sorry to hear that though
In addition is to get legal contracts
If your city does that
And ask half payment up front first
Once anyone signs that, if they dont agree you can take it to court if there are courts there and you can shut down his business through sew…
