Hi ! i am trying to edit my host file in windows and add
127.0.0.1 test.domain.com
but it is not working. It just return 404 not found when ever i load the site. Anyone have tried this ? Want to rest hcaptcha with real site key .8 Replies
u could use a tunnel like ngrok or cloudflared
Answer
there is a chance you have DoH in your browser settings, which means it could be overwriting th host file
the better solution is to do what gin said and tunnel tho

welp too much setup gonna hcaptcha test key then
if you be fancy like me and have your site on cloudflare, then you can have a tunnel for your subdomain :)
yea i have haha but my current laptop is so patato with 4 gb of ram
so probly would want the remaining sauce of ram to the editor and browser lmao
