Benefit to using server components in desktop apps like electron/tauri?

From my understanding, server components reduce the load on the client by doing work on the server, but when the client is the server, what is the point apart from making development harder?

There really isn’t a benefit nextjs isn’t built for use in electron like apps… not that it can’t but that’s not the purpose
