Git Clone not showing in source control

As you can see from the images that I have git installed but the "Clone Repository" button is not there. Do I have to activate something?

no, if you look at the left side menu, I'm in the Source Control tab
it should have clone repository button like in this tutorial

Can you create a new window using the shortcut CTRL + SHIFT + N and take another look? Have you tried?
