Performance problems (RAM & Server down)

Hi
In our company, we have a development done in nextjs. It is frontend and consumes from a rest api that is not developed with nextjs.
Since a few days ago, it starts to devour RAM as if there was no tomorrow, and knocks us down the server.
We have downgraded some packages, and nextjs itself, and it keeps doing the same.
We have tried on another machine, in case it was the server, and the same thing happens.
It starts to increase the RAM up to about 50%, and then it plummets, and then it goes up again. Like this all day long.
We do not have a heavy traffic load.
We have had days with much more traffic, and everything is fine.
What can we do?
