On Back Navigation, Page Scrolls to Top Instead of Returning to Same Scroll Position

Hi, im encountering an issue with my Next.js (14.2.1) app. When I scroll down on a page and then click on a link to navigate to another page, returning to the previous page via the back button scrolls to the top of the page instead of staying at the same scroll position.
How can I fix this?
