Hi, I have this problem and I need help. I apologize in advance for not understanding and I need clarification.

I am making a website for a company in Next.js 14 and somehow I don't understand how to deploy a Next.js page in my case. The thing is that the company has web hosting (through webglobe), but if I understand correctly, Next.js needs a server to deploy it? So if I understand correctly, just "webhosting" is not enough? The DB that I'm using in that project is also on that webhost.

I was thinking of deploying it via vercel and redirecting via DNS to that domain on the hosting, but I read somewhere that projects deployed on vercel are not indexed by google? If this is not going to be an option then I would need some advice on how to do this?

Thanks a lot and sorry again and thanks for the help.

It should be more than enough. Vercel earns money from big companies and sponsors allowing you to do a lot in their free tier.

Only apps that are on vercel domains "example.vercel.app" are not being indexed. If you buy a domain and set DNS records to point to your Vercel deployment it will be indexed correctly.

Okay thanks! And if the site gets around 8k visitors a month, will the free plan be enough or not?

Nice! So it should be okay to host it on vercel and keep my DB on hosting and then setup DNS?

Yes
