Hello, I'm trying to find a analytics library I can use to see site stats like visitors/page views and be able to setup custom events. Just looking for insight of a good Analytics Library I can use. I'm trying to stay away from paying but if there one that's just worth the price I don't mind paying.

you can use the free analytics site
Google Analytics
. They let you see a lot of data and you can create also custom eventsTheres multiple options, you could use Google analytics, if you host on vervel you can also enable analytics there, or you could also create your own custom analytics.

Creating my own custom analytics sounds fun but would leave me to question whats the best library for the job. Vercel analytics is good but this is more for my clients.
I have tried Google Analytics but idk maybe it's the learning curve but trying to understand there API docs

I've been looking at this mixpanel tool don't know if it's worth it but if making a custom analytics for clients if storage would be much of the problem in regards to having to pay more for storage in the database to store the data.

Yea, deliver data to them and then you can structure your dashboard and data like you want it to
Theres a big assortment of options, i would honestly recommend creating a custom one since you can tailor it to your own needs ( i can link a guide/doc if you want )..
But if you are looking for a library for it, here are some:
Vercel analytics (https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=vercel+analytics)
Google analytics(https://marketingplatform.google.com/about/analytics/)
Umami analytics (https://umami.is/)
Fathom analytics (https://usefathom.com/)

If you just need easy and basic analytics, take a look at axiom. You heard about it?

Have not
I like the part of tailoring it to my needs and maybe would be cheaper than spending money on these services. But I don't really know how to price map this kind of project. Im assuming its just the pricing of the db ill have to worry abt
I guess, until you know what you really want, will not find the right service
yeah, this is more a case of trial and error, see what you like, see what you dont like. most of the analytics platforms have free trials, try creating your own if need be.

Hmm okay. Well thank you both y'all for helping me. I'm going to try some of the free services out then also determine the side of making it custom. I'm assuming all it is just api calls back with data and filtering out certain things from being called so the data is as accurate
Alright, your welcome! i hope everything works out, good luck!

Thank you!
