I am wondering if e.g serverless & lambda is still supported as next Js 14 target?

Is there any other stable way that does not cripples the next Js features to deploy next app to aws other then running the full ec2 instance?

Thanks

Thanks for the answer. Is there an away of achieving that on aws? Would I still need a ec2 instance but with some special configuration? Btw why serverless is not the way to go?

im sure u can run nextjs on aws and its your personal decision to do, there is no right or wrong in this case. Serverless as the word says wont give u the control a dedicated would give u
example: Own reverse proxy with nginx, working with the filesystem of your vps, much more control
also u can have something like portainer to manage all your dockerized apps
so u have a vps for 5 euro and host a nextjs server, rest api, maybe some type of filestorage api
also while building applications with live features (websockets) u have to use a selfhosted api
ex: chatapp
i have plenty experience and that would be my suggestion
depends on what u want to achieve tbh
