There is no problem in calling the same function multiple times across multiple places. That is perfectly fine, as long as it's cached.

1. for archival purposes, please do not delete the question except special cases, such as when it contains secretive information that you should've never posted in the first place.
2. to get rid of the question in the channel sidebar, simply unfollowing the question is enough.
