mp4 file not coming as proper

when i href an <a> tag to a mp4 file (588mb, had to use git lfs) located in public, the video doesnt show up and it just stay stuck like in the image and doesnt respond to anything, what can i do?

not much of a next question, but maybe it has something to do with the public folder, i did try it in other folders and same results so i doubt that
