When trying to share a page with PPR enabled, e.g. https://www.partialprerendering.com/, some social media, e.g. Linkedin and Twitter will fail to scan the OG metadata and receive HTTP 500, while others like Reddit and WhatsApp are fine. This affects even static pages, as soon as the ppr flag is true. This can be tested using share debuggers, e.g. https://www.linkedin.com/post-inspector/inspect/https:%2F%2Fwww.partialprerendering.com%2F.

When removing the ppr flag, which causes the entire page to be SSGed or SSRed, this issue will not happen.

TBH, I personally feel that it is caused by PPR implementation and will (hopefully) eventually be fixed. But I wonder if anyone has figured out a workaround to this, besides disabling PPR?

For the record, Discord is one of those that won't complain when sharing a PPR page. As shown in the following 👇
