Hello NextJS team!

I'm a fairly inexperienced user of Next, and I'm wondering if it is the right tool for an application I need to make.

Is NextJS capable of doing more than just 'frontend' projects- e.g. can it be used to write a server that does some object detection with some data on the server database and then displays the result for the user?
