I want to deploy a small donation website, built in latest Next.js 14 version..I know that it can be deployed on Vercel , i did that, but i am more worried for bandwith limit of 1tb on a pro plan.I've read that Next.js can be deployed on a VPS hosting plan on Hostinger.For 7 $ a month you have 8tb of bandwith to use..I am more worried not to exceed 1tb of data on a vercel plan, because it charges 40$ for additional 100gb .So is it possible to deploy it on Hostinger on VPS plan(wich hosting do i need actually?),and would you suggest it? I dont think i will exceed 1tb, but i want to take precautions, i dont want my client to pay unnecessery fees. Thanks in advance 🙂

its easy as hell with vercel, but also expensive as hell. I'm planning to shift my projects from vercel to my rack running proxmox

not necessarly, but it would work
you can do anything basically. Take your old ps3, jailbreak it, install linux and tomcat on it and deploy it there if you feel crazy today

One more questtion, for small donation webaite with text and images and some videos ,with maybe 5k bisits a month, ia 1tb enough on vercel ?

but to be honest, vercel is overpriced as hell, so its not a bad idea to deploy somewhere else (risky one, cause this discord server is ran by vercel)
vercel is just making it easy as hell, but it comes with a price.

Around 30mb size of videos.Total, not more
And around 30mb of images

but if you configure it correctly, you can achieve the same or even better performance on other servers.
My authistic best practice is a physical rack server in my basement, but I can't tell you how it went, cause I didn't try it yet. But I know some guys that are hosting next.js projects on their own servers and achieve better performance than vercel does.
