Page delay for Links dosent prefetch

Hello I need to add a delay for page transition animation and I found the same question on stack overflow.
I had came with the same solution however my problem is that as far as Im aware it dosent prefetch the page to whitch I transition becouse when I push my site to prod the delay is longer then it has to be but when I transition again the delay is as it has too.
