Excuse me, I'm looking for some guidance/advice regarding with a Next version migration.
I've been developing a medium-large size application with next, firebase and stripe.js.
...

But, the issue here is that I started to coding it with next 12.
We're on next 14.3 😅. Need help.

I just want to know if is needed to modify big parts of my original code. Or is it enought to run npm update react and next packages...?

You can still use the pages router in Next 13/14
You should be able to upgrade with little to no changes to your existing application. You can also incrementally adopt the new App router. I found these resources quite helpful, but my app was early into development when I switched

You have do it manually
For example in next 12, I've been using the following structure for define my links:

<Link href={}>
<a style={stylesHere}> link text </a>
</Link>

Is this still supported by next 14?
Or should I change it?
Next 13 uses the a tag by default so you don't need to wrap it anymore
There's code mods you can run to do the refactoring automatically
