I would like to configure the vercel platforms kit to work on a subdomain, e.g. pages.example.com, so I added pages.example.com and *.pages.example.com to project domains. Unfortunately an error pops up: "To use Vercel Nameservers, please enable DNS for example.com. You can always disable Vercel DNS on the domain's settings page if you change your mind.".

Can I run this project on a subdomain or it is not possible? My apex domain points to another server where I keep other projects and I don't want to switch DNS for example.com to Vercel DNS.
