When to consider migrating to a custom server

I am a part of a startup company, in charge of the whole web development. I really like Next, and hosting it as an app server in Azure (App Services service, so it is not serverless).
The web app is a user specific, using mongo, redis, auth0 etc. This is a B2C app, so please consider this case as a company that could potentially grow and contain serious amount of user (tenant) defined data. Our business logic backend is in Go, running in an internal environment.
Questions:
1. When in your opinion is it not enough to use NextJs as a company’s API server (apart from being the frontend of course)? I have a lot on my shoulders, and Next being a fullstack framework, used as such in a company which plans on scaling quickly means I must know for how long I can rely on it before it will be true pain un the a** or even not enough for an API server. Consider any use cases you want in your answer, I just need guidance on when it is smart to move to frameworks like Nest, Django etc. .

I would ask to talk to their sales team and buy an enterprise license because that is a whole different system.(better)
But if you're asking questions about scale before you have anything with any traction, I think you're focusing on the wrong things

https://vercel.com/customers a lot of big companies use vercel and nextjs. surely not all of them are relying entirely on vercel/nextjs but i'm guessing at least some are. i don't see why you think at some point you'll need to switch framework for it to scale
