NavBar Link not working properly with locale.

When I click NavBar link of the page I'm currently on - nothing happens, as it should. (URL: en/.../page)
When I change language, the page gets translated and locale changes. (URL: fr/.../page)
Now if I click link NavBar link of the page I'm on - it loads en/.../page again, but my expected behaviour would be that it stays on the french locale and nothing happens.
