I've set up a github action to deploy via SSH to our server. It seems to run very slow - indeed it's the first run, but it's been 10 minutes.
The app is currently the barebones next project.

Okay, I'll try the standalone mode now.

Because you probably are syncing the entire repository and the million node_modules etc.
When building the app you only need the .next folder
Check the docs for more details on self-hosting

So on production I don't need the node_modules, even if I use SSR?
